Time & Location

04 Oct 2019, 13:00 – 14:00

Cape Town, P. D. Hahn Building, Rondebosch, Cape Town, 7700, South Africa

About the event

The session is guided by two questions:

How do we imagine the perspective of children who are in homes where most experience is punctuated by violence?

How does one write from the intersections of one's personal story and what are often regarded as macro or structural social problems (e.g. men's violence)?

This conversation will be relevant to people whose work involves writing on violence and those who are invested in experiences of children in contexts of violence.
